Alejandro González Iñárritu
Alejandro González Iñárritu is a Mexican film director, screenwriter, and producer known for his emotionally intense, visually ambitious storytelling. Born in 1963 in Mexico City, he began his career in radio and television before moving into filmmaking. He first gained international attention with his debut feature Amores perros, which established him as a leading figure in contemporary Mexican cinema.He directed acclaimed films such as 21 Grams, Babel, Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance), and The Revenant. His work is characterized by interwoven narratives, themes of fate and human connection, and a distinctive cinematic style. Iñárritu has received multiple Academy Awards, including Best Director.
