Ali Ghavitan
Ali Ghavitan was born in Iran in 1964 and studied law. He has made many short films and directed ten plays. His works include Flight of the Kites (2012) and My Mother’s Blue Sky (2015), The White Bridge (2017), Dream About Sohrab (2020). His films explore family relationships, childhood, and social inequality, reflecting the influence of Iran’s realist filmmaking tradition. His films have appeared at international festivals and are noted for their quiet emotional depth and attention to everyday human experience.
