Andreas Dalsgaard
Andreas Dalsgaard is a Danish documentary filmmaker and director known for creating socially and politically engaged films. Born in Denmark, he gained international recognition for documentaries that explore issues such as democracy, education, human rights, and global inequality. Among his best-known works are The Human Scale (2012), about urban planning and city life, Life Is Sacred (2014), which follows former Colombian mayor and peace activist Antanas Mockus and The War Show (2016) about the experiences of a Syrian disc jockey and her friends after the Arab Spring. Dalsgaard is an important voice in contemporary documentary cinema.
