Andrei Kravchuk
Andrei Kravchuk is a Russian film director born on April 13, 1962, in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He is known for directing historical dramas and large-scale epic films that have gained both critical and commercial success in Russia. Kravchuk first received international attention with The Italian (2005), a drama about an orphan searching for his mother, which was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. He later directed major historical productions such as Admiral (2008) and Viking (2016).
