After failing to contact her son, a middle-aged woman (Mercedes Hernández) contacts Mexican law enforcement officials to report that he is missing. Much to her dismay, the officers tell her that he lost his life in his attempt to illegally cross the border from Mexico into the United States. She then embarks on a quest across Mexico in search of her son, whom she still believes to be alive. Written and directed by Fernanda Valadez.
