Celebrated Iranian poet Forough Farrokhzad -- whose inventive and sometimes erotic work often placed her at the center of controversy -- is the subject of this three-part documentary from director Nasser Saffarian. Combining interviews with family and friends with footage of Farrokhzad shot by Bernardo Bertolucci, the film provides a revealing look at the life and work (which also spanned theater and film) of a remarkable artist.
