Yoko (Atsuko Maeda) longs to be a singer, but for now, she has to endure being the host of a travel program run by abusive director Yoshioka (Shôta Sometani) and his apathetic crew. Their latest assignment sends them to Uzbekistan, and even in a foreign country, Yoko’s mistreatment continues: among others, she is forced to eat a local delicacy that is undercooked and repeatedly ride a dangerous-looking fairground ride until she vomits. The only thing she looks forward to is exploring the local area by herself. Written and directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa.
