László Gábor Nagy
László Gábor Nagy is a Hungarian filmmaker and cinematographer whose work emerged within Hungary’s independent and experimental film culture. Active particularly during the 1980s and 1990s, he worked as both director and cinematographer on a range of documentary, experimental, and short films. His credits include Ours Is This World, a documentary noted for its detailed portrayal of Roma life and traditions, as well as City of Desire, And What About You?, and As Long as We Live, for which he was also co-director and cinematographer.. His experimental work was also recognized in Hungarian film circles, including the award winning Why Don't You Go To Hell, Pavel?. His filmmaking is characterized by an interest in social reality, documentary observation, and experimentation with the visual possibilities of film and video.Currently he lives in California.
