About
Moonville Tunnel is a black and white experimental dance film, starring Boroka Nagy (Re:born Dance Interactive). It was presented at the Athens International Film + Video Festival, in Athens, Ohio. Deep within one of Ohio’s densest wooded landscapes lies an abandoned railroad tunnel shrouded in ghostly legends. Among them is the tragic story of a young woman who, in 1905, set out to visit her lover. Along the way, she was struck and killed by a passing train. More than a century later, her presence is said to linger in the darkness. According to local legend, her ghost still wanders the tunnel and the surrounding woods, keeping alive a story suspended between memory, grief, and myth.
